These are cost reduction, control and convenience. Print and copy costs can be reduced by up to 30% with managed print services saving organizations time and money.Central Business Systems has always helped our customers control and budget printing costs by providing equipment service agreements that include parts, supplies, labor – basically everything except paper, facilitating maintaining equipment in top condition. Our service software tracks all parts, supplies, and service performed. The system tracks usage and volumes that are evaluated periodically to determine cost effective changes in the contracts or equipment.Previously, to record the meter readings required calling or emailing the customer. The customer had to track their supplies and monitor the equipment for service requests, then contact CBSI to have the supplies or service provided. Now, with Kyocera Fleet Services this can be handled more accurately and efficiently right from our office. A client software is installed at the customers location(s) on their network. The software monitors all printing devices and reports meter counts, supply usage, and service issues to CBSI. Our service administration and dispatch staff are alerted when toner is running low so we can automatically replenish the supply, and when the machine detects a service issue so we can automatically dispatch a technician. The customer no longer has to be contacted for meter readings, the software polls the equipment for meter readings at a set interval which provides consistent tracking and accuracy. This allows our professional staff to have accurate information on all machines to track and evaluate volumes, performance, and total cost of ownership to recommend equipment changes, contract changes, etc., to provide the best cost savings and efficiency for the customer.
